According to the annual Forbes rating, Sheba Medical Center is a leading hospital in Israel in about 40% of the medical specialties. 188 Sheba specialists are named in the prestigious list.
The 2018 rating shows that Sheba doctors are leading specialists in several areas: cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, Ob/Gyn, fertility treatments, internal medicine, ENT, urology, allergy and immunology, endocrinology, dermatology, ophthalmology, genetics, bariatrics.
In the Ob/Gyn and fertility Sheba doctors stand out with an impressive gap in comparison with other hospitals in Israel.
It’s the fifth consequent year that Forbes magazine publishes the list of the best doctors in Israel. The list is comprised according to the recommendations of thousands of medical professionals for their colleagues. In order to maintain objectivity and prevent extraneous considerations, each physician was asked to recommend only doctors from other medical institutions and a different specialization.
